New R&B Beat – The Beginning by Dr. Duce

This R&B beat is of great significance to me as it represents a new phase in my music production journey with the commencement of my new beats store www.ducebeats.com. The track itself was inspired by some of my students who wanted me to demonstrate how to produce an R&B styled track in during one of our session. This was a great challenge which i thoroughly enjoyed and I’m pretty happy with the outcome too.

Main Ingredients of this R&B Beat

The entire instrumental is built around a simple vocal hook sung by the awesome Tasha. I sampled the hook which contains only two words which are ‘I know’. However this simple yet catchy hook melody was enough to inspire the entire production. The beat has a pulse of 132 BPM but runs in halftime which falls very much in line with current R&B tracks. Also, the instruments and sounds used are also very much the flavour of now. All drums are of course Body Blows Drum Kitstaken from my Body Blows Drum Kits sample pack. They provide those essential traps all style rhythms with nice syncopated hi hat rolls, heavy kicks and 808 bassline. You will find some lovely bells and pads as well as melodic hooks running throughout the track. These have been designed to support the overall instrumentation whilst at the same time creating enough room for you to write your lyrics and deliver a great vocal performance without too much interference of sounds getting in the way.

Breaking Down The R&B Beat Structure

Similar to my other R&B beats such as ‘3 Little Birds’ I make sure to leave enough space for you to do your thing. As far as structure or arrangement goes the sections are put together in verse chorus format which will allow you the flexibility of building a great dynamic movement between each part of the song as it develops over time.

A Perfect R&B Beat for Your Next Project.

I’m absolutely certain that this track will serve you well as a foundation for you to write your next big single, or album track. If of course you are a music supervisor for TV or film this will be a great addition to one of the scenes in your next production. You can listen to the track right here by clicking on the YouTube link or download it straight away by clicking the button above. I’ve make sure this track is professionally mixed and mastered to a very high standard and it’s available as high quality wise file or in MP3 format. As with all of my productions they come to you fully prepared for you to create your next masterpiece.
